Rangers Qualification Hike: August 6th

August 6th is the Rangers Qualification Hike
Meeting Time: 8:20am Meeting Location: Kraus-Hartig VFW parking lot. Hike begins at 9am at the Winchell Trail. Lunch is provided.
Pack ~40lbs of gear in a COMFORTABLE backpack or frame pack.
Extra socks are a must. Feet are important. Abuse them and lose them.
Extra water is a must. Plan on at least 1 liter of water per hour. This hike will take 2-3 hours plus lunch.
Your gear should include all the items of the 10 Essentials.
