Many Point Registration is NOW.
Today, Friday 3/31/2023, is the last day to get your $50 camp deposit in to the treasurer Kelsey for First Choice registration at Many Point. Troop 714 will attend Many Point July 16th-22nd, 2023. This is an amazing opportunity to grow, learn, and have a blast. Scouts can earn up to 4 merit badges and will experience a plethora of new and exciting activities at camp. New friendships will form and old ones with strengthen. Leadership skills will develop and new hobbies or future careers will be explored. This is an outstanding week and we don't want you to miss out!
Tomorrow, the activity and merit badge choices open up for the entire Scouting world at noon. Every troop in the state will be registering at this time. Slots for activities and merit badge classes are first-come-first-serve. We're doing our part by being ready for swift entry of everyone's preferences. SPL Connor has been hard at work to give everyone their best chance at getting their top picks. Our week at camp is fully booked, so competition for slots does exist. Camperships to defray up to half the cost of camp are readily available and we encourage you to use them! Apply at https://camp.northernstar.org/Article-Detail/what-are-camperships. The application takes less than 5 minutes we've never heard of anyone being denied. They bring the cost of a whole week of camp to just $175, which includes all meals and activities! Go for it. Campership applications must be in no later than April 15th. Final payment of the balance is not due until June 1st.
