Boot Lake Halloween 2023 Info

Hey all, I hope you’re excited for this weekend! We will meet up at the VFW on Friday at 5:00pm, and will arrive at around 7:30pm. On Friday night we will have a cracker barrel. For those of you that don’t know, a cracker barrel is where each scout attending brings a snack item for the troop, and it comes together to create a (rather unhealthy) meal. Feel free to eat dinner at home before we leave, cracker barrels aren’t always the most filling. We will be playing games (bring your favorite board/card games), as well as hosting a haunted trail, and carving jack o’ lanterns. It should be a complete blast! As far as packing goes, this is as simple as it gets. All you need to bring is outdoor gear, clothes, a sleeping bag, a flashlight, and your best scout appropriate costume.

If you are a member of the Aye-Aye patrol, I recommend bringing a sleeping pad and be prepared for colder nights, as it will get cold in your bunkhouse. Please bring your Class A (just the scout shirt will be fine) for the drive there and back. This is standard for all scouting activities, but I thought I’d remind you.
